CHESTNUT THUMBSTICK (Code: 1407) A simple and classic walking stick suitable for country walks. Grown from coppiced chestnut wood, this staff has an attractive colour and features a natural ‘V’ in the wood, which forms a convenient place to rest one’s thumb whilst grasping the stick. The ferrule is a ‘Combi-ferrule’: a rubber ferrule fitted over a spiked one, so that the staff may be used on both hard and soft surfaces. Overall height approximately 122cm (48″).
