I got this supplement to help boost my immunity and so far it seems to be helping. I take this but my wife doesn’t and she has gotten sick twice while I avoided catching what she had. To be fair though, I do take other mushroom supplements and I go back and forth between this one and a couple of different extracts from other brands. I do this because each has it’s own unique mushroom blend.In regards to this particular supplement I have found that it mixes fairly well with water but some of the powder does fall to the bottom of my water bottle so I need to give it a little shake between sips. I do not find the flavor off putting at all and can only describe it as a light earthy taste along with bland oats. It doesn’t cause me any stomach discomfort and I haven’t noticed any changes in my bowel movements. In other words, at least for me it seems well tolerated.I’ve only been supplementing with mushrooms now for about 6 months and this is the first one I have tried in powdered form. I got this to try as it has a unique blend compared to the other mushroom extracts I take and from what I can tell the company that produces this is very reputable. I like that that this mushroom supplement is USDA Organic certified, Non-GMO and Gluten free. My only complaint is not seeing anywhere that this product is 3rd party tested or produced in a GMP certified facility. With that said, I do want to mention however that their website does say their products are not repackaged and are manufactured in-house at a state-of-the-art facility.For now I am very happy with this product and will continue to take it. I did take 1 star off the rating not because I am unhappy with the product but because I can’t find as of yet that this product is 3rd party tested or that it is produced in a GMP compliant facility.
