FTS (Fixed Tail Short) Collar: 5.5″ The FTS has a shortened pedestal, creating a shorter fuselage with the distance between the front and tails foils being closer together. The FTSs are built for carving. They are super loose and turn sharp and quickly. Construction These are Solid Carbon Fiber tail wings. Built of High Modulus Prepreg Carbon under high pressure and heat in an Autoclave. This technique gives maximum strength and bonding of the Carbon Fiber. FTL (Fixed Tail Long) Collar: 9″ The FTL has a longer pedestal, making the distance between your front and tail foils longer, essentially lengthening your fuselage. The FTLs are more stable with pitch control that stabilizes your up and down movement. They are easier to ride in all conditions and will slow down your turns.
